Dear Pathway Families:

Another week of on-line classes is in the books.  Congratulations!  We are impressed by your commitment to your students, and we remain committed to helping you (and your student) through this.  Our offer stands.  If you need anything, please ask.  We are here to help.

Next week, the week of April 27th, is a regular week with classes running Monday through Thursday.  The following Monday, May 4th is a school holiday, so I hope you and your students can take some time off and relax a little.

We have made an additional modification to the school calendar.  The last day of classes is on Thursday, June 11th!  For our senior class, graduation will be on June 11th as well.  We haven’t made any decisions on how graduation will be celebrated, but as of today, Montgomery County Pennsylvania will not permit any in-person graduation ceremonies.  Our staff is working on creative ways to honor our graduating seniors, so stay tuned for more information.

Some of you have been asking about ESY.  As of right now, it is doubtful that we will be allowed to hold an on-campus ESY.  We are in the process of finalizing our ESY plans and will be sharing them with you next week.

It is too early to make decisions about school in September, but I thought you should know we have begun scenario planning for it.  As our plans become clearer, probably during the summer, I will send you updates.

We are about a month into virtual education.  I would like to hear from you as to how it is going.  What seems to be working?  What isn’t working?  How can we make this a more meaningful experience for you and your student?  How can Pathway be supporting you better?  Please provide us with some feedback.  We are committed to making this work for you.

Despite the cold, rainy weather, I hope you all have a nice weekend.
