On May 14th, 119 golfers brought their clubs to RiverCrest Golf Club to enjoy a round of golf and raise money to support the construction of the STEM + the Arts Innovation Center. This annual golf outing was in its 22nd year and we welcomed new golfers as well as those who have been faithfully attending the event each year.

Six students were selected through teacher nominations to represent the school as student ambassadors. Each student did a magnificent job greeting our guests and working both on the course and during the evening reception. BSD Education was the Student Ambassador Sponsor. Representatives from BSD presented each student with a well-deserved achievement award, as family and friends looked on with pride.

This year our celebrity guest was former National Hockey League multi-year All-Star, legendary Philadelphia Flyer, Brian Propp. Brian was on the course greeting everyone, taking pictures, and signing hockey pucks. During the evening reception, he gave a motivational speech, sharing his story about a stroke he suffered in 2015 and his remarkable comeback following months of rehabilitation.

While the weather was a bit cold and drizzly, golfers completed their round, followed by cocktails, dinner, and silent auction bidding. The day and evening was a huge success and the funds raised will support our amazing students.

Mark your calendars for the Pathway’s FORE! the kids Golf Outing on September 1, 2020!
