The final weeks of school at Pathway were filled with excitement, laughter, and celebration. Our school came alive with events that showcased achievement, creativity, and school spirit.
Celebrating Career Success
The festivities began with our annual Careers Banquet, hosted by our Career Education team. This special event honored the students who worked hard throughout the year in on-campus and off-campus jobs. Through Pathway’s Career Education Program, students in grades 9–12 gain valuable real-world experience with local business partners while learning important workplace skills.
Teamwork Takes Center Stage
Next up was Field Day, one of the most exciting traditions of the year! Students were divided into four teams and spent the day competing in fun challenges. From races and obstacle courses to tug-of-war, the campus was buzzing with school spirit.
One of the biggest highlights was the dunk tank, where staff members, including our President and CEO, David Schultheis, bravely took a seat above the water! The day was filled with laughter, teamwork, and school spirit.
Showtime at Pathway
Anchors aweigh! The fun continued with our spring musical, The Pirates of Penzance Jr. After months of rehearsals, learning lines, and polishing their performances, our Theater Arts students set sail on stage with confidence and enthusiasm.

Recognizing Academic Success
We also celebrated student achievement during our end-of-year awards ceremonies. Students from our Lower School, Emotional Support, Autistic Support, and Upper School programs were recognized for their hard work throughout the year.
We also hosted our annual Celebration of Learning, where students took center stage through music and theater performances while proudly displaying projects that reflected their hard work throughout the year. Our gym became a bustling hub of learning and creativity.
Moving Up and Moving Forward
Another meaningful milestone was our 8th Grade Move-Up Ceremony. This event honored our students as they prepare to take the next step into our Upper School Program. Their perseverance, determination, and growth have been inspiring, and we are proud of all they have accomplished!
Celebrating the Class of 2026
The school year concluded with our Graduation Ceremony, a celebration of the remarkable achievements of the Class of 2026. These students have overcome challenges, developed new skills, and made a lasting impact on our school community.
Their accomplishments extended far beyond the classroom. This year’s graduating class played key roles in our robotics, basketball, flag football, and cheer programs. They helped lead undefeated seasons in both basketball and flag football and qualified for the FIRST Robotics District Championship at Lehigh University. Their hard work, leadership, and commitment have left a legacy at Pathway.
Looking Ahead
As we reflect on an extraordinary school year, we are filled with pride for all our students have achieved and gratitude for the community that made it possible. In the words of President and CEO David Schultheis, “The end of the year is always a favorite time in our school year. We pack a lot of fun activities and celebrations in the month leading up to graduation. Every school year is a marathon, and these events serve to remind us all how important celebrating success, big and small, is important too. As we say goodbye to the 2025-26 school year, we also say thank you to everyone in The Pathway School community. Looking forward to a good summer and a great start to our next school year in September!“
