We’re excited to open a brand-new Early Elementary Autistic Support Classroom, and we’re looking for a passionate, creative, and dedicated teacher to help build something truly special from the ground up.
About The Pathway School
Located on a beautiful 12-acre campus in Jeffersonville, PA, The Pathway School is a nonprofit special education school serving students ages 5–21 from over 50 school districts and charter schools.

The Role
This is more than a teaching job—it’s an opportunity to create a classroom where young learners can thrive.
You’ll design and lead a structured, engaging learning environment using evidence-based practices rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), helping students build communication, independence, and confidence.
You’ll also serve as a case manager, guiding each student’s individualized program and celebrating their progress along the way.
What You’ll Do
- Create and implement individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Use ABA strategies, including discrete trial teaching (DTT), to support learning
- Build a positive, structured classroom environment with strong behavior supports
- Supervise and collaborate with paraprofessional staff
- Conduct assessments such as VB-MAPP and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Partner with families and a multidisciplinary team to support each student
- Track progress, analyze data, and adjust instruction to maximize success

What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education (Master’s preferred)
- Active PA Special Education Certification (PK-12, PK-8, or N-12) (Required)
- Autism Certification
- At least 3 years of experience in an autistic support setting
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- A flexible, creative mindset and a passion for helping young learners succeed
Position Details
- 10-Month Position
- Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7 hours/day (35 hours/week)
- Exempt/Salaried
- Reports to Assistant Principal

- Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
