EITC & Corporate
You can give through corporate giving programs
Many businesses have corporate giving programs either through the United Way, Truist, Benevity, or other workplace campaign programs. The Pathway School welcomes support through these programs as well as matching gifts from participating corporations.
If you are a Pathway supporter and work for a company, please check with your employer to see if they offer a matching gift program. This is a wonderful way to increase the impact of your gift to Pathway! Some companies also have foundations or other corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs that are set up to support nonprofit organizations in communities where their employees live and work. Because Pathway’s students come from several counties and over 50 school districts in the region, we welcome support from corporate foundations and CSR programs whose funding focus includes programs related to K-12 education, students with special education needs, at-risk and students from low socio-economic families, career development, and youth job programs.

Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program
The Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (PA EITC) program allows businesses and individuals to earn a tax credit of between 75% and 90% toward certain Pennsylvania taxes which then allows them to make a donation to an Educational Improvement Organization. The Pathway School is an approved EIO organization and is eligible to receive PA EITC contributions.
EITC contributions to Pathway help support the follow programs:
- Drama (and The Pathway Players)
- Career Education
- Pathway Today (media arts/video production)
- STEM Innovation
For Individuals and Businesses:
Individuals and businesses who meet certain eligibility requirements are also able make EITC contributions through a Special Purpose pass-through entity (SPE) that allows for the use of credits on business or personal income tax returns.
The Pathway School is associated with an SPE affiliated with the Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Fund (CPSF) (Federal EIN 45-4423429) enabling individuals and businesses to participate for Education Tax Credits. These credits can then allow for EITC contributions to our school.
