Letter from our President & CEO

Dear Pathway Community,

Beginning in early March 2020, The Pathway School set out to keep everyone in our school community informed and up-to-date as we faced the implications of COVID-19. This web page is dedicated to providing our community with timely, easy to access information as we navigate a very different school year. Within these pages, you will have access to our formal school reopening plan, our health and safety protocols, and frequently asked questions designed to help address some of your most pressing concerns.

We know this year has presented challenges and will require flexibility from everyone in our community. We remain committed to doing all we can to adapt our school model and protocols to keep The Pathway School community healthy and safe.

What happens if there is a presumptive positive or positive case of COVID-19?

Please download our Phased School Reopening Health and Safety Plan where it shares in detail what steps we will take if there is a presumptive positive or positive case of COVID-19. 

Is this year like the spring session with no grades?

No, we are taking attendance, keeping grades, and giving tests so participation and work completion with effort is very important for a good grade on the report card.

When my child is home during virtual learning, what time does he need to login?

Please have your child login between 8:30 – 8:57 for homeroom attendance.  1st period starts at 8:59. 

Does my child need to stay online all day if they are learning virtually?

Yes, they may ask for a break during class just like if he/she was in school, but they can’t just leave without asking a staff member and they must return to class. A typical break is 3-5 minutes.

Are you still enrolling new students?

What are the current learning options offered at Pathway?

For our fall semester, Pathway is offering a hybrid model where students can attend in-person classes on campus 2 days a week and 3 days they will participate in virtual online learning OR a 100% virtual online learning option. 

Can we take a tour of the school if I am looking to enroll my child at Pathway?
