Letter From The President

Dear Visitor:

Welcome to The Pathway School website. For the last forty-six years, Pathway has nurtured and challenged many wonderful students with complex learning and emotional issues.

From its earliest days, Pathway has relied on an integrated team approach by staff and parents to support each individual student’s growth toward optimal independence. We have attracted and developed a multi-talented team of professionals who collaborate to optimize each student’s academic, vocational and social development.

We strive to promote life-long learning throughout our School and the community we serve. Only through expanding our knowledge and capacities as educators can we hope both to model and to support that growth in the students we serve.

Developing a unique student profile, expanding uses of technology, adding insights regarding emotional intelligence, and developing a greater variety of vocational/learning opportunities are but a few ways that Pathway is revitalizing itself. Our knowledge and expertise are continuing to grow while our mission remains clearly focused in serving the individual student and family.
