Our Assessment Process

Complete a preliminary assessment over the phone to determine the appropriate path and assessment procedure
The assessment requires 2-12 hours of direct time with the licensed psychologist or neuropsychologist
Testing completed at The Pathway School or in the student's local school district
Testing includes:
1. Review of developmental, medical, behavioral, educational and family history
2. Review of educational records and test scores, as well as results of other psychological assessments
3. Clinical interview
Parents and/or school districts will receive a comprehensive written report as well as specific recommendations for education, transition, and career planning
Schedule a feedback session with the psychologist to thoroughly discuss the child's strengths and needs, along with recommendations for accommodations and planning
