Pathway's Clinical Consulting Program

provides Psychological Evaluation and Assessment Services to students and young adults.


Our professional staff work with students with multiple disabilities including:

  • Asperger's Syndrome

  • Autism

  • ADD

  • mental health disorders

  • specific learning disabilities.

 

Pathway's licensed school psychologists hold doctorate degrees in neuropsychology and school psychology.


 

About the Program

 

We use the most current evaluation methods to serve:


Preschoolers School-age children Adolescents Young adults

 

Our assessments include:

  • Neuropsychological evaluation

  • Psychoeducational testing

  • Asperger's Syndrome and High Functioning Autism (HFA) Assessments

  • ADHD evaluation

  • Intelligence testing (IQ)

  • Adaptive behavior testing

  • Assessment of memory and cognition

  • Learning disabilities assessment

  • Personality and psychological assessments


We address questions and concerns of families and school districts:

  • Specific learning disabilities (reading, written expression, mathematics, communication, non-verbal, auditory, visual and fine-motor)

  • Developmental disorders

  • Academic underachievement

  • Eligibility for public school special services (504 / IEP accommodations)

  • Eligibility for learning support services in college

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

  • Emotional and behavioral difficulties

  • Cognitive and memory function decline

  • Anxiety, depression or stress

  • Lack of focus, irritability or impulsive behavior


Pathways Assesment Process for clinical consultation Our Assessment Process

 

  • Contact Pathway Clinical Consulting at 610-277-0660 ext. 202

  • Complete a preliminary assessment over the phone to determine the appropriate path and assessment procedure

  • The assessment requires 2-12 hours of direct time with the licensed psychologist or neuropsychologist

  • Testing completed at The Pathway School or in the student's local school district

      Testing includes:
      1. Review of developmental, medical, behavioral, educational and family history
      2. Review of educational records and test scores, as well as results of other psychological assessments
      3. Clinical interview

  • Parents and/or school districts will receive a comprehensive written report as well as specific recommendations for education, transition, and career planning

  • Schedule a feedback session with the psychologist to thoroughly discuss the child's strengths and needs, along with recommendations for accommodations and planning
