How to Apply for SSI Seminar, March 25
Applying for Supplemental Security Income for your son or daughter takes more than filling out paperwork – you need to know HOW to answer questions on that paperwork and how to communicate with professionals involved in your child’s life.
On March 25, 2010 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, Marjorie Portnoy, Esq. and Jennifer Myers from GenEx Disability will present information on how to prepare documentation for the SSI application process. They will also discuss the appeal process and Social Security’s definitions of disability. GenEx Disability offers professional support and counsel to families navigating the complex Social Security system so they can claim the benefits they are entitled to. (Learn more at www.genexdisability.com).
This is extremely important information to have before your child turns 18 and is eligible to apply for SSI.
Please RSVP to Jennifer Graham no later than March 17 at 610-277-0660 x 264 or to JGraham@PathwaySchool.org.
